The following are extracts from the Corsica 2010 Village Harmony teaching session where we learned the paghjella “U tempu de una minnana”.
I provide these links so folks can learn each of the parts, then teach them to others.
Patty, Larry, and Jean Etienne taught us first the lead [melody], then the bass, then had us sing the lead and bass together.
And then, while the rest of us did the lead and bass, Jean Etienne gave us various examples of how the tercio might sing and ornament that part. There are four different examples here.
